Gold filled jewelry is great for everyday wear because the gold barrier on top of the base metal is 30% thicker than plated pieces. While it is okay to occasionally get these pieces wet, we recommend taking off before showering, swimming, working out, and wiping pieces clean with a dry towel after each wear to help preserve the gold.
